Super Junior will be singing the theme song for Mnet’s “Superstar K 3”

Mnet has announced on April 5^th that Super Junior’s Ballad Unit “Super Junior-K.R.Y” (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Yesung) will be singing the main theme song. For Superstar K Season 1 the theme song was sung by Jewelry and for Season 2 it was Four Minute. Mnet described that “Because of the strength of the overseas auditions we believe that Super Junior’s popularity that is all over Asia will add strength to Superstar K3.”

The new Superstar K3 theme song will be used starting from April 24^th’s Busan audition until the end of the program in November as a PR and also congratulatory song. Super Junior-K.R.Y has announced “We are happy to sing for a program that is getting so much attention. We wish that the theme song will be loved as much as the program itself.”

In other news, Superstar K3 has had over 1 million candidates. The first round of entries will continue on through ARS (Korean Phones) until June 28^th.
